I hope that in the future, even more great ideas can be invented so education and the job of a teacher can be made more efficient through technology. I hope that schools all around the United States have the opportunity for students to begin their technological skills like typing or safe, web searching so students can all can grow up will good technology knowledge and skills to expand their education, too. I agree with you also that the production of technology is moving so fast, it is no wonder how so many people have become so talented at operating their phones and digital tools. It is very funny and has become very common how the need for technology in our society has become in seemingly just a few years! Taking a college class won't be the same without Black Board! The technology and availability to beneficial, educational technology programs sometimes surprise me! Last semester I completed my first few fully-internet classes, and I was actually pleasantly shocked by the accessibility and benefits of classes online. It is wonderful when students of all ages are available to computers or other technologies on their school campuses as well. Very interesting thoughts! I think that all children should also have the wonderful blessing of education and technology in our society. Shift happens, but from these videos I think that shift should happen, but with the hope that it happens to where people everywhere could be exposed to the same amount of education and technology and truth be told if we were all exposed to these advances we would live in a better world. I am a strong believer that everyone should have an equal education, why shouldn’t we all be exposed to education and the bettering of our lives. America used to have the best education, and our people were far ahead of the game, but today we find it hard to keep up with other countries who according to the videos have more honors students that we have kids! Now I am not saying that we need to rebel and take them down and so on, but I do agree that our level of education should be improved. China and India are passing us in every stretch of the imagination, and faster than we could even fathom. Almost every product that Americans use today is made in a different country. Countries that were once far behind in the world are now taking over, are now in charge. Our world, ever changing has new superpowers. To be completely honest I do not think I ever study with just my book open and a notebook, not even in class! I am so used to being in a world of technology doing anything without it would seem taboo. My cell phone is sitting right next to me, and to be completely honest I am texting while writing. Our lives revolve around our computers and phones, this very moment I am glued to my laptop, just to write this blog, and it has more than one tab open, and one of the tabs is Facebook, the other YouTube. Our world is every changing, ever growing, and what older generations once knew is so different from today. I have seen the Shift Happens videos before on YouTube, but every time I am still amazed by the information that is given. We all are affected by technology and the ever changing world around us. There is something included that we can all relate to. I like everyone else on the planet is a part of this video. As I watch it I begin to see why I make these connections. He is smart and definitely on top of all things technology. Every time I hear the phrase did you know? I think of one of my favorite television Sheldon Cooper, from the show The Big Bang Theory.
